Payment Claims

Situations arise where payment for a game may not have been completed pre-match at the field e.g., disputed amount with the coach, a team no-show, a team refuses to pay

In those scenarios, we prefer that you not escalate the situation and allow us to advocate for you, with the league, to obtain it after the fact. You can submit a claim for each game you are missing payment. If a match is abandoned at the field, be sure to collect payment from teams according to the league’s standard policy. Do not collect more money from a team than they would ordinarily pay if the match was played.

Rules:

  • You must have been a member of NYSRA member for at least 24 hours before the start time of the match
  • You must submit your claims within 3 days of the match.
  • If you do not complete the payment form with your payment info, your claim will be dismissed.
  • You are expected to collect payment at the game before it begins or if you abandon a match at the field (even before kick-off). This claim is not a replacement for improper protocol.
  • You must let us know when you do get paid for submitted games so we are not constantly asking for the same fees over and over on your behalf. Not doing so will result in this benefit being removed for you.
